CT as known today, is typically used to service wells.
In the last ten years CTAmericas worked exclusively in testing
the application of CT as production string for artificail lift
in oil & gas wells.
CTAmericas through numerous tests, found that one of the best
applications for this type of artificial lift systems is in
Slim Holes; more specifically, CT makes possible to produce
from old wells converted to Slim Holes.
Aware that the future massive application of new artificial
lift methods using CT requires availability of "fit for
purpose" rigs, CTAmericas identified the appropriated
type of equipment capable to compete in a “pulling unit
market”.
In 2007 CTAmericas LLC merge with CT Lift Systems International
LLP incorporated in the State of Texas, USA , created to license
and market the technology.
